"St. Michael's House Special NS Baldoyle provides education for pupils with Severe to Profound General Learning Disabilities. Recently we were the amazingly lucky recipients of the donation of a brand new Sensory Pod. It was installed by Robert from the Murray's Medical Team. We are blown away with this new addition to our school resources. Many of our pupils have sensory processing issues and many others need a very quiet space to focus and to learn. The Sensory Pod offers a quiet, distraction free space with inbuilt music and lights that can be controlled and altered to meet the needs of an individual child. Almost instantly The Sensory Pod was a big hit with our pupils (and our staff). Without this generous donation from an extremely thoughtful philanthropist, we could never have afforded such a beneficial piece of equipment.
